The M10/M7 series of mines weigh around five pounds. It requires a pressure of 140 to 240 pounds to initiate the fuze. The light M7 antitank mine is intended to be used against light tanks or vehicles. The M10 mine has a small smoke charge instead of the HE filler. Tactical mines are painted OD with yellow markings. Practice mines are painted blue with white markings. Inert display mines are painted black with white markings.
